Her only chance is the chakra needle move and I don't think it'd do as much damage to Neji as it did the bees. He'd see her defense coming (it requires small start-up time) and back off to analyze it. Her filler defense is actually pretty powerful since it cuts and it was strong enough to repel a large summon, debately stronger than Neji's pre-skip Kaiten, but I don't think Neji would match up against her like that. He will eventually close in and overwhelm her again. Im not saying Hinata will win-its a 50/50 Im just saying Neji does not rape given his feats at this time. Besides it doesnt have the range that Hinatas Jutsu do.
Kaiten-a far as Im concerend is not an absoloute defence. While Neji just stops them from getting close. On top that Hinatas Jutsu prevents anyone from coming into her range. Hinatas Jutsu is much faster used and executed than Nejis is. He can emit chakra from all his pores, Hinata cannot. Also, there's nothing stopping him from defending himself with his own chakra in order to move in close to her. Her defense isn't absolute, and it leaves her depleted after one use. As shown when he could not not see all the birds which were close by-whenever Naruto was leaving the Village. Hinata could see roughly 800m around her with her Byakugan in part 1,Neji cannot see this much. Also, she had no idea they were blocked until Neji told her. It's not like that actually matters in a one-on-one fight regardless. Hinata uses tunnel vision aspect of Byakugan moreso than the actual 360 range that Neji does.
